This year’s Valentine’s day certainly won’t be a conventional celebration. There’ll be no weekends away or trips to romantic restaurants and cocktail bars, but that doesn’t mean you can’t make it just as special! 

We’ve got some ideas to help you make your lockdown Valentine’s day one to remember! 

Treat your Valentine to breakfast in bed 

Valentine’s day actually falls on a Sunday this year, so there’s absolutely no excuse not to make your special someone a delicious breakfast in bed to start the day! 

A classic full English breakfast with Cumberland sausage is sure to be a winner, but if you feel like trying something new, how about whipping up some pancakes with bacon and maple syrup? 

If your valentine prefers something a little bit sweeter for breakfast, why not throw together some fresh berries and yoghurt, with a drizzle of Staffordshire honey– delicious!

Lockdown doesn’t have to stop you from enjoying a delicious, romantic meal, why not whip up a few courses in the kitchen?
