The Catering Butcher Journey…

This new venture marks the 90th anniversary of the family butchers, which opened in 1926. Throughout their time in business The Catering Butcher have worked in the same dedicated manner, offering outstanding customer service that will continue through to this new stage of their business.

As the fourth generation of the family business, David Jackson has acquired this new property. He will be working in the same way he has in the last ten years, providing an exceptionally high quality butcher service to over 300 hotels, restaurants, pub chains, conferencing venues, catering companies and the education sector each week. David states:

“Myself, my family and our staff are very proud and excited to be moving to this new modern premises. When the freehold for this site came available it seemed perfect for us, allowing us to expand whilst staying within two miles of our original family farm.

Employing people from this area has also been a huge factor in our decision; we consider that the people of Stoke-on-Trent are some of the best and hard working in the country.

This expansion enables us to continue with the managed and sustained growth that the company has achieved over the last twenty years. It is very important to me that the move helps us to continue in providing our core values:

Great meat and a great, friendly, personal service – always.”
