H.H.Jackson Ltd was established in 1926 by local farmer, Herbert Henry Jackson. The company enjoyed a great deal of success due to Herbert’s enthusiastic approach to the Butchery trade. This ethos continues today with Herbert’s original Fenpark Road shop now run by his grandson Arthur, who still provides the finest quality meat to the local community. We are also proud to be the longest serving stall holder within Stoke market, continuing to trade there each Wednesday Friday and Saturday for over 6 decades and now run by fourth generation family member Mark Jackson.
Our primary business is now ‘The Catering Butcher’, established and operated by the fourth generation David Jackson. He has worked in the business since his earliest memories, always helping out his dad (Arthur) at weekends and even through his school holidays. David’s enthusiasm for the catering trade led him to the development of ‘The Catering Butcher ‘ some 20 years ago, and eventually to the purchase of its own premises in the summer of 1999. Since that time ‘The Catering Butcher’ has continued to grow year on year and we have had to extend our premises further over the years. We’ve now become a leading and highly regarded catering and hospitality butchers for Staffordshire, Cheshire and Manchester, supplying to many high profile and prestigious clients. We operate with a team of skilled butchers, most of whom we have trained to our standards, straight from school.
